Ruth – a character study

A couple of weeks ago I preached on Ruth.  I've only just uploaded it as I have been waiting on a copy of SoundBooth to arrive.

This was a really interesting study, there is lots of background (culture and history) required to get to grips with all the details in there, but Ruth was a remarkable lady.

My three main points were:

  1. Ruth was devoted to the Lord (from Ruth 1)
  2. Ruth was humble (from Ruth 2)
  3. Ruth was selfless (from Ruth 3)

    Nice and simple and a reminder of attributes that we should be exhibiting as believers in Jesus Christ.

    I wonder if someone who has a non-christian worldview would care to comment on such a topic?
