What we don’t do
Phil Johnson has a thought provoking piece on what we don’t do in churches, and it is something I’ve been thinking about over the last little while to. We often don’t act like we say Bible believing people should.
Just look at how we use our time, the things that grab our affections and the lack of looking forward to Christ’s return. these are just a few indicators…
I particularly liked this quote: “What we do is the measure of what we really believe. The rest is just religious talk. Faith without works is dead.”
We live in a fallen and hopelessly evil society, we should be examining our hearts daily with a view to to remove sin and worldly behaviour from our lives. If we don’t care about our sin – we should question if we are even saved.
